IIn John 14, the author speaks of the moment when Jesus met with his disciples before leaving to return to Heaven to be with the Father. At this time Jesus encourages them to believe in Him and the Father who sent Him because He is the way. Then Jesus precedes by telling them that he would ask the Father to leave them another Counselor, the Spirit of Truth. This is the Holy Spirit. 

In verse 19 it says, "Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live”.  We see that for those who believe that Jesus lives they will see Him. However, for the world that does not believe they do not see that Jesus is alive! 

We would like to encourage you with these words just as Jesus did with his disciples. As the church it is important to live as Jesus challenged the disciples to live; to live in such a way that we show the world that JESUS IS ALIVE! We must go out dispersed, sharing Jesus with those who still have not had their eyes opened to see that HE LIVES! 

 

Just as it says in John 14:31, "but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. 'Come now; let us leave'.” Therefore, Dispersão Mission exists to leave, to go out dispersed, so that the world will know that Because He Lives, they also have the opportunity to LIVE; to live a life with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to know His love and be transformed by it.
